Earls Court resounded to dogs, people, trade stands (mostly doggy), exhibits, food outlets (mostly human), and everything in between…
Karen Sykes and Alan were to be seen resplendent in their UK team uniforms with Alan carrying about the biggest trophy I have ever seen which was to be displayed by the main arena. Although Karen & Fly were to perform their winning routine late in the afternoon there was a very appreciative audience there to enjoy it.
Other HTM events spread throughout the day sadly ‘escaped’ me as I was fielding rather a lot of attention on Breeze, both her breeding (NO she is not a Saluki X), and of course her ‘day job’ as assistance dog. She was strutting her stuff as only she can do, looking stunning as she showed off (all I need is that ‘on’ button for the ring!).
A little retail therapy resulted in a nice everyday collar for Breeze and small gifts for the ‘girls’ in our family. One of the nicest parts of the day were unexpected meetings with friends, both old and new.
